What is Grok Imagine Image 2.0?
Grok Imagine Image 2.0 is xAI's general image model for text-to-image and image editing, up to 2K. The Zurelay Grok Imagine Image 2.0 API makes images at xAI's medium quality for $0.045 at 1K and $0.06 at 2K, 25% below xAI's own price, and edits or combines up to 3 images at the same price.
Grok Imagine Image 2.0 is xAI's newer image model, for text-to-image and image editing up to 2K. On Zurelay it uses the model ID grok-imagine-image-2.0, and also accepts grok-imagine-image-2.
xAI prices it by resolution and quality: $0.06 for a 1K image and $0.08 for 2K at medium quality, plus $0.01 for each image you send to edit. Zurelay makes every image at medium quality and charges $0.045 at 1K and $0.06 at 2K, with the images you send included.
Send a prompt to POST /v1/images/generations with size 1K or 2K and an optional aspect_ratio: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9 or 21:9. Sizes are xAI's own, about one megapixel at 1K (1280 × 720 for 16:9) and four at 2K; Zurelay retries any image in another shape or resolution. To edit or combine, pass up to 3 images in images, or as files to /v1/images/edits; without an aspect_ratio, an edit keeps the shape of the image you send.

Yes. Send up to 3 images in images on /v1/images/generations, as https URLs or base64 data URLs, or as files to /v1/images/edits with the OpenAI SDK, and describe the change. Without an aspect_ratio, the result keeps the shape of the image you send.

Every image is made at xAI's medium quality, the level priced on this page; there's no quality setting.
Can I call the Grok Imagine Image 2.0 API with the OpenAI SDK?
Yes. Point the OpenAI SDK at https://api.zurelay.com/v1 and call images.generate with model grok-imagine-image-2.0 and size 1K or 2K. Pass aspect_ratio through extra_body in Python or as an extra body property in Node.
