AI image API pricing. Up to 74% below list.

Every image model on Zurelay, on one API key: Google's Nano Banana, OpenAI's GPT Image, xAI's Grok Imagine and Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3. Each one makes pictures from a prompt and edits or combines reference images, through OpenAI's images endpoints, below its lab's own price per image.

Examples

Made with Nano Banana Pro. Straight from the API.

Every image here is a single API call with the prompt underneath it, not retouched or upscaled. They're shown as compressed WebP; the API returns full-quality PNG.

  • Product photograph of a glass jar of golden honey on a rustic wooden table, the kraft paper label clearly reads "Wildflower Honey" with a small bee illustration and "Blue Ridge Apiary" underneath, a wooden honey dipper dripping honey beside it, warm morning window light, shallow depth of field, commercial food photography.
  • A lighthouse on a rocky cliff during a winter storm, huge waves crashing and exploding into white spray, the beam cutting through heavy rain, dramatic dark clouds, long exposure seascape photograph, ultra detailed, photorealistic.
  • A mint green 1960s convertible parked on a coastal road in Amalfi, chrome details gleaming, pastel houses on the cliff behind, turquoise sea, bright midday Mediterranean sun, 35mm travel photography, photorealistic.
  • A New York subway platform, a large printed poster on the tiled wall reads "Summer Jazz Nights, Every Friday in Central Park" with a saxophone photo, commuters blurred in motion, fluorescent lighting, 35mm street photography, photorealistic.

Quickstart

One request. OpenAI's format.

Point the OpenAI SDK at https://api.zurelay.com/v1 and call images.generate, or images.edit with your reference images. Sizes, aspect ratios and every option are in the image guide.

Add credit from $10, with no subscription. The quickstart has the rest.

generate.py
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(
base_url="https://api.zurelay.com/v1",
api_key="YOUR_ZURELAY_KEY",
)
image = client.images.generate(
model="nano-banana-pro",
prompt="A red fox sitting in fresh snow at dawn, photo",
size="2K",
extra_body={"aspect_ratio": "16:9"},
)
print(image.data[0].url)

Verified

The model you asked for. Tested before it serves.

Model capacity is often bought ahead, through prepaid credits, committed-spend contracts and volume tiers, and not all of it gets used. Sellers offer it below the usual price. Zurelay tests each route, pools several per model and sends every request to one that is available and verified.

Every image that comes back is measured against the size and aspect ratio you asked for. One at the wrong size, or an error sent as a result, counts as a failed attempt: the request moves to another route and you aren't billed for it. How models are verified.

Live health for every model is on the status page.

FAQ

AI image API questions.

Anything else? Ask our team and we’ll answer by email.

How much does the AI image API cost?

On Zurelay: from $0.016 per image, across 9 models. That's 11–74% below each lab's own price. There's no subscription or minimum spend: you add prepaid credit from $10 and pay for what you use.

Are these the real models?

Yes. Each model is served over several routes run by independent sellers, and every route is tested before it serves requests and re-tested while it does. Images are measured against the size and aspect ratio you asked for, and one at the wrong size counts as a failed attempt you aren't billed for. If a result doesn't look right, send its x-request-id to support and we check the route that served it.

How do I start calling these models through Zurelay?

Create a key, then call images.generate in the OpenAI SDK, or POST /v1/images/generations, at https://api.zurelay.com/v1 with a model ID such as nano-banana-pro. Code that already uses OpenAI's images API only needs the base URL, the key and the model name changed.

Can I edit images, not just make them?

Yes. Every image model on Zurelay takes reference images with a prompt, to edit one picture or combine several: up to 14 for Nano Banana, 16 for GPT Image, 3 for Grok Imagine and 1 for FLUX 3. Use POST /v1/images/edits or reference images on POST /v1/images/generations.

Am I billed for a failed image?

No. An error, or an image at the wrong size, counts as a failed attempt: the request moves to another route and you aren't billed for it.
