Is it the real GPT?

Yes. Each model is served over several routes run by independent sellers, and every route is tested before it serves requests and every day after, with identity, dated-knowledge and reasoning checks, streamed as well as not, that catch an older or different model sold under the name you asked for.

How much cheaper is it than OpenAI's API?

Do tool calling and structured output work?

Does Codex CLI work?

Not yet. Codex CLI needs OpenAI's Responses API, and Zurelay serves Chat Completions. Coding agents that take an OpenAI-compatible base URL, such as OpenCode, Cline or Continue, work with GPT on Zurelay.
