Video
Wan
Alibaba’s Wan 3.0: 480p, 720p and 1080p, 2 to 30 seconds in every common shape, sound included, and up to 10 reference images in one shot.
Prices
Sound comes at no extra cost; set generate_audio to false for a silent clip. A video is charged only when it’s delivered.
What it takes
- A prompt of up to 8,000 characters. Wan has no negative prompt.
- A
first_frame(and optionally alast_frame), or up to 10reference_images, not both. - Lengths from 2 to 30 seconds, in whole seconds.
- 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 and 21:9. From a first frame, the video takes the image’s shape unless you set
aspect_ratio. - A
seed, to make a result you liked again with small changes.
Reference images
Give up to 10 images of people, products, places or a look, and mention them in the prompt by their order: Image 1, Image 2 and so on. @Image1, as the Playground writes it, works the same. Wan puts them together in one shot, so a character can hold a product or stand in a place you chose.
{ "model": "wan-3.0", "reference_images": [ "https://example.com/beekeeper.jpg", "https://example.com/honey-jar.jpg" ], "prompt": "The beekeeper from Image 1 holds up the honey jar from Image 2 and smiles, in a lavender field.", "seconds": 5, "resolution": "720p", "aspect_ratio": "16:9"}Prompting
- Describe the motion and the camera, not just the scene: “slow push in”, “static wide shot”, “drone shot rising over the bay”.
- Name the light and mood: “overcast morning”, “neon at night”, “golden hour backlight”.
- For speech, put the line in quotes and say who says it.
- There’s no negative prompt, so describe the look you want, such as “clean frame, sharp focus”, rather than what to avoid.
Good to know
- Most clips are ready in about 2 minutes; long 1080p clips take longer.
- Draft at 480p, then render the final cut at 720p or 1080p once the prompt is right.
- Prompts or images that may break the content rules can be declined (
content_policy); declined videos are free. - Videos are kept for 30 days; download the ones you want to keep.
